Widen & Dine
A downloadable game for Windows
Welcome to Widen & Dine, Chef!
We’re excited to have you on board. At Widen & Dine, we use special nutrients that instantly increase the weight of our customers—and anyone who touches them. But don’t worry! Just wear our patented suits while you work; they’ll keep you looking sharp.
To get started, simply press the Cook button for each customer, then follow the Left, Right, Up, Down arrow keys and Space in perfect timing.
Made for the WeightGaming Gain Jam.

04/09/24 Change log:
- Included ‘Good’ hits into the combo system, so they will no longer break your combo streak.
- Decreased the score needed to get to the ‘Fat’ stage.
- Added an option to start the cooking sequence with the ‘Space’ key.
- Adjusted the scoring system slightly so that the customer’s reaction isn’t affected by the combo score (so now their reaction is based on how many 'Perfect’s, 'Good’s and 'Miss’s you get, which gives you a bit more variety of reactions, rather than always the fattest reaction).

its too fast for my hand and eyes
Yo.
Nice little game. Simple but effective art and equally good gameplay. I think however that given the speed of some series you are asking for too high a level of precision.
I will be interested to see how it evolves. Good work.
The archive is corrupt, as a result it doesn't include the Unity.dll which is required for the game to start
Yeah, I don't know why that happened because the zip included it on my computer, it was just when it uploaded to itch.io it disappeared. The zip in the external download link should be working
I was able to pass only on "chubby", and even then with the help of a hint. Shaverma is too complicated, and it is not clear where the "perfect" is on the arrows. The art is good, juicy.
I think I got the same errors as Someone, I'm not too familiar with Unity but hopefully this helps if you're already looking into it.
some sort of error with the zip?
